Jesmond Dene

Last Saturday, Al Imanu Kids team and I went to Jesmond Dene for Spring trips. We went there by bus number 38, and we off on Jesmond bus stop, but I don't remember which bus stop because it was my first time visiting Jesmond.

After we off, we needed to walk for about 10 minutes to the spot. A lot of beautiful sceneries along the street, there are many old buildings, big church, small store, but the road was quite busy. There were a lot of vehicles sharing the road.

We also could see a lot of trees and river. Accidentally I spotted an old castle far away, on top of the hill, unfortunately we didn't get there.

In the area, there were pets corners. There were many kinds of beautiful pets, not just ordinaries pet. They were so cute, especially the rabbits. I really wanted to cuddle them, because the had cute face and I thought their fur were also very soft. It's fluffy....I am gonna die.....lol...

The Children really enjoyed to see  them. There were also ducks, chickens, and colourful birds. My daughter was very excited.

After we enjoyed the pets corner, we walked a long side the river. There were a lot of old trees with their unique shape of roots. Wild birds also flew and some took rest in branches. The water in the river wasn't very clean and clear. It was brownish, and some wastes in it.

The Jesmond Dene Area is quite looks like a big park or small jungle. With old houses or building inside, and also we can fine old mill. A lot of paths and bridges.

At those day was very windy, but still lot of people visited this place because the weather was quite nice even though not much sun shine. A lot people took their dogs, most of them had big dogs. And they untied their dog, so we need to walked carefully because they kept running around us. My daughter little bit scared of big dogs.

We took some rest in the middle of the area and had dinner. Suddenly a big dog came to us and started to sniff our dinner. Alhamdulillah our dinner was safe and the dog called by it's owner. That was little bit scary.

After we finished our dinner we continued to walk and took some picture, until we arrived in a small park, with playground, and also a lake beside it. A lot of children played at that playground, and some people took rest near the lake. They just sat down, chatted with other, fed some birds. It was very nice.
