Ara's Story About Vindolanda and The Army Museum Trip

On Tuesday we went to the Roman Army Museum and Vindolanda. We went on a coach, it was 30 miles. I looked at the window and I saw animals, cows, sheeps, and horse. At the Roman Army Museum we saw a statue of a Roman riding a horse.

After we watched a 3D film, it was called The Eagle Eye, we also put the 3D glasses on, it was fun. Next we went to the Roman classroom. We learned how to write and say Roman numbers. Then we went to the gift shop. I bought a wrist band and a friendship bracelets.

Next we went to Vindolanda! It took 7 miles. We ate our packed lunch in Vindolanda, it was beautiful. After that we put our packed lunch back in the coach. We went back outside to have a look in Vindolanda. We have a little walk. We saw a gift shop, but we didn't buy anything. Then we went outside to have a look in the two castles. When we are on top of the castle, some of the girls said I am the Queen of the castle!

After that we saw a man telling about his job, his job is archeologist and he might find Roman stuff and if he find something he will sell it in the gift shop. Next we went back to the coach and went back to school.
