Today, 5th June is World Environment Day (the same day as my husband's birthday), so my daughter's school ask all the pupils to dress up as the wild animals. The day before, my husband went to the city centre looked for an animal costume. Many stores had been visited by him, but the shop keepers kept saying that my husband came in the wrong time. He should come in the Halloween season when they sell all that kind of stuffs. Actually we knew that, but we needed to try the best.
Actually my daughter has a butterfly costume, which are the wings, tutu, tight, and pink leotard, but my daughter wanted to be one of the wild animal. We searched online about how to make DIY animal costume, maybe we could find something easy and nice for the day after. And than my husband found a website about home made animal costumes in here. They were look good and easy to make. We already had some stuffs, for example a black T-shirt, a pair of black school trousers, white material, and panda hat. My daughter got her Panda hat from her previous primary school as a present. Yes, we decided to make a simple panda costume.
First what we needed to do was, preparing all the stuffs including scissors, a needle, and a white thread. Cut the white material into a big oval for the panda's stomach, and then thread in the T-shirt neatly. And finish, that's all. Yey...the Panda is ready to go.
