Head Lice Alert

Yesterday, my daughter got a head lice alert letter from her school. It said the parents need to check their children if they have lice or not because the school found many cases about this issues this time. I little bit worry read that letter, I was afraid that my daughter got lice because since two days ago my daughter keep scratching her head . Then I checked her hair straightaway after I read the letter. Alhamdulillah her hair is clean.

Head lice is a common problem in the UK especially in the summer and after long school holidays. And because it's easy to spread among the children, so the parent who noticed their children got head lice, they need to tell the school office, and then the office sent letter to all parents so they can check their children too.

First time when I found my daughter has head lice in her head, soon I cut her hair short. I also bought a special shampoo that can kill head lice. I shampooed her everyday in several days and kept checking the head lice eggs. I also bought a fine comb in the pharmacy. I used many ways to kicked  head lice out from my daughter's hair. Alhamdulillah it worked.

Now my daughter hair is free from head lice but we need to keep clean anytime, because head lice can come anytime from anywhere. That's why I like to pony tail my daughter's hair neat, or ask her to put on her hijab to school. I told her to keep her hair from head lice otherwise I will cut her hair short again. She promised to do her best.
